At Govern Psy School, there’s a strong desire to learn, but the teaching materials are lacking. Teachers currently copy lessons from a small mobile screen onto the blackboard. This needs to change.
We want to give 22 children from grades 3, 4, and 5 their own textbooks. For €650, we’ll provide these three classes with books in English, Afrikaans, and Xitsonga. A sustainable investment that will last for years.
At Govern Psy School, education extends beyond the classroom. We believe that sports are where children learn to work together, win, and lose. But currently, gym class is often nothing more than a dirt field without equipment.
We want to provide the school with a Sports Box: from netball poles to skipping ropes and agility sets. So that every child has the opportunity to move, play, and grow.
€15 – Provides the school with two quality balls (soccer or netball).
€45 – Purchases a complete set of cones and bibs for an entire class.
€150 – Creates a permanent netball court on the school grounds.
The world is digital, but our school is still an island. Teachers now prepare lessons on their own phones. With a laptop and printer, they can print lesson materials and use the online platform Twinkl.
